How Colored Mulch is Made
- Wood is brought to a processing facility where it is passed through grinders, creating smaller wood fibers, or bare mulch.
- The mulch enters a coloring system, whereby ultra-concentrated, environmentally safe colorant is mixed with water and applied to the wood fibers.
- The colorant completely encapsulates the wood, ensuring maximum durable adherence and UV protection
- The mulch is loaded and transported in bulk to your local landscape professional.
